TACOMA'S PARKS
Pt. Defiance Park is by far the best-known of Tacoma's Parks. After all, it is the second largest municipal park in the US, behind NYC's Central Park. While it is certainly the crown jewel of Tacoma's parks network, residents and visitors alike will find no shortage of parks to enjoy. Whether strolling the beach at Titlow, splashing in the wave pool at Kandle Park, or admiring the autumn colors in Wright Park, Tacoma's parks truly offer something for everyone.

UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON
The University of Washington's Tacoma campus is both beautiful and a focal point of the ongoing efforts to revitalize Tacoma's downtown area. Opened in 1990, current enrollment is pushing 5,000 students. The school offers a world-class education, boasts small student-teacher ratios and a faculty deeply committed to helping their students.

MY HOUSE
Located on N. Sheridan Ave. within the North Slope Historic District, is my home. It was constructed in 1900, but has been thoughtfully and loving updated to exhibit a beautiful blend of old and new. While the house provides plenty of charm and character, the age of the structure leads to some interesting solutions whenever a home improvement project is undertaken.

NORTH SLOPE & STADIUM HISTORIC DISTRICTS
How many cities can claim to house a castle? Stadium High School (pictured) is located in the heart of Tacoma's Stadium, which, along with the neighboring North Slope district, is home to many of the city's most historic buildings. The compact nature of the neighborhoods, perfectly lend themselves to a leisurely stroll where one might take in the character of the architecture or grab a pint at one of the neighborhood bars.
